Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a warm welcome during his campaign visit to West Bengal’s Malda. However, Modi expressed concern over the state’s decline under the rule of Left and Trinamool Congress (TMC) parties, citing rampant corruption and a lack of development. He urged the people to vote for a change in order to restore Bengal’s past glory.

Three individuals were transported to the hospital on Wednesday after masked assailants barged into an anti-fascism meeting in Stockholm, Sweden. The incident occurred during an evening gathering organized by the Left Party to address the rise of extreme-right ideologies in the country. Upon entering the venue, the masked assailants deployed self-defense spray, launched smoke grenades, and physically assaulted attendees. Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson strongly condemned the attack, emphasizing that it represented an assault on Sweden’s democratic principles.
