Terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir have been found using highly encrypted Chinese telecom gear, raising concerns about undetected infiltrations from across the Line of Control. This specialized equipment, used by the Pakistani army, has been provided by China, which is actively enhancing Pakistan’s defense capabilities along the LoC. Terrorists Waiting to Infiltrate into India

Around 60 to 70 terrorists are ready to infiltrate into India from across the Line of Control (LoC), according to Jammu and Kashmir DGP Rashmi Ranjan Swain. The terrorists are in groups of five or six at different locations and are waiting to be pushed into Indian territory at any time. Swain added that drone droppings activities pose a significant challenge as they enable the smuggling of arms, ammunition, explosives, cash and narcotics. Despite successes in countering enemy attempts, Swain emphasized that the threat remains and sustained efforts are required to reduce the enemy’s ability to destabilize the area. The Army, paramilitary forces and the Jammu and Kashmir Police are determined to make it difficult for the terrorists to succeed.

Indian Army personnel successfully engaged a suspicious Pakistani drone infiltrating the airspace near the Line of Control in Rajouri district. Despite a thorough search, no suspicious items were discovered on the ground. Another flying object was observed near Poonch, but no findings were made. Meanwhile, the Border Security Forces recovered a China-made DJI Mavic 3 Classic drone in Amritsar, following a tip from intelligence. This discovery follows another drone-related incident in Amritsar, where a drone was used to transport suspected heroin.
