Vishal Agarwal, the father of the juvenile involved in the fatal Pune Porsche crash that killed two software professionals, has been sent to judicial custody until June 7. The case has been transferred to the crime branch for further investigation. Along with Agarwal, five others, including the owners and employees of two liquor-serving establishments, have also been remanded to judicial custody. The juvenile driver, who did not possess a valid license, is alleged to have consumed alcohol prior to the accident. The police are investigating the bank details related to a bill paid by the juvenile at a restaurant on the night of the crash and have added a cheating charge to the case against Agarwal for non-payment of RTO fees for the Porsche’s registration.
