Maharashtra Minister Sandipan Bhumre and former leader Chandrakant Khaire have filed their nominations for the Aurangabad Lok Sabha seat in the upcoming 2024 elections. Aaditya Thackeray, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader, participated in Khaire’s procession and expressed his support for the INDIA alliance. Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena candidate Sandeepan Bhumre also filed his papers alongside MLA Sanjay Shirsat and BJP district President Shirish Boralkar. Polling for the seat will take place on May 13th.
BJP candidate Mukesh Dalal has won the Surat Lok Sabha seat unopposed after candidates from other parties withdrew their nominations. Dalal’s victory marks the beginning of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s historic victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
