Drunk Driver Kills Woman in Long Island Crash

A Long Island woman, 21-year-old Brianna Lodice, was driving a Kia and struck a Nissan Altima in Massapequa on Tuesday night, killing the 64-year-old female driver of the Nissan. A 46-year-old female passenger in the Nissan suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Lodice fled the scene after the crash but was arrested a short time later. She has been charged with second-degree vehicular manslaughter, third-degree grand larceny, leaving the scene of an accident, and driving while intoxicated.
