Benicia Knapps, 33, pleaded no contest to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 19 years to life in state prison for the April 2023 death of Home Depot loss prevention officer Blake Mohs. Her accomplice, David Guillory, 32, pleaded no contest to child abuse, accessory to a robbery, and evading an officer and will receive 7 years and 4 months in prison. The plea deal was reached with the blessing of Mohs’ family.
