A ticket sold in Mississauga, Ontario, claimed the $500,000 maxmillion prize in Tuesday’s Lotto Max draw, as the $70 million jackpot remained unclaimed. The next draw on Friday will offer an estimated $94 million jackpot and 24 $1 million maxmillion prizes. The OLG provided the winning numbers for the Tuesday draw, including the main draw, Encore, and Maxmillions combinations.
Elwood Varty, a father of six and grandfather of nine from Campbellford, Ontario, won the top prize of $100,000 in the OLG Dream Draw Lotto Max draw on May 3rd. After playing the lottery for decades, Varty’s winning ticket, purchased at RX Drug Mart on Grand Road, finally brought him his first major victory. Despite his disbelief, Varty’s wife initially thought his win was a joke. He plans to save his winnings for the time being.
