Bangkok Airways Unveils ‘Low Carbon Skies’ Initiative to Elevate Sustainability in Aviation

Bangkok Airways, in partnership with OR, has launched the ‘Low Carbon Skies’ initiative, aiming to reduce carbon emissions in aviation operations. The initiative involves using Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) on flights between Samui and Bangkok. The airline is committed to becoming a ‘sustainable airline’ and has implemented various measures to reduce CO2 emissions, including efficient fuel use and the adoption of alternative energy sources. Bangkok Airways and OR’s collaboration supports global efforts towards achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 and contributes to the proliferation of green aviation in Thailand and the region.
