French Commuters to Enjoy Free Public Transport in Luxembourg

French commuters residing in border towns will soon be able to travel to their workplaces in Luxembourg without paying a dime. This pilot scheme will not only save commuters money but also alleviate traffic congestion and promote environmental sustainability. Initially implemented for six months, the program involves free shuttle services that will transport workers from designated areas in France to Mondorff, right on the border with Luxembourg. From there, commuters can seamlessly connect to Luxembourg’s free public transport network to reach their destinations. This initiative is part of a larger effort to improve connectivity between the two countries and encourage commuters to switch from cars to public transport.
