The Indian Racing League (IRL) and Formula 4 Indian Championship (F4IC) are set to return to the Madras International Circuit (MIC) for the third round of the Indian Racing Festival (IRF) 2024 on September 14 and 15. The MIC will host the races after the Kari Motor Speedway was replaced on the calendar.

Sarthak Chavan showcased his talent at the second round of the MRF MMSC FMSCI Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship 2024, winning both the Pro-Stock 301-400cc Open and the 165cc Open categories. He secured a special award for the fastest lap of the day across all categories. Other notable wins came from Abdul Basim in the Novice (Pro-Stock 165cc) class, Jagathishree Kumaresan in the Girls (Stock 165cc) category, and Kaushik Subbaiah Ganesan in the Stock 301-400cc (Novice) category.
