Apple is expected to unveil new iPad Air and iPad Pro models at an event on May 7. The iPad Pro is expected to get a major upgrade with an OLED display, M3 chip, and a matte display option. The iPad Air could see a more modest upgrade with a larger 12.9-inch display, mini-LED backlighting, and a new landscape FaceTime camera. A new Apple Pencil with new features, like squeeze gestures and interchangeable tips, is also expected. The Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro could also get a redesign with an aluminum top case and a larger trackpad. Additionally, Apple could introduce new USB-C peripherals, including versions of the Magic Mouse, Magic Keyboard, and Trackpad. While updates to the base-model iPad and iPad mini are possible, there are relatively few rumors about these models.
