Sourabh Chandrakar, the alleged mastermind behind the Mahadev betting app scam, has been arrested in Dubai following a Red Corner Notice issued by the Enforcement Directorate. Indian authorities are actively working to extradite him back to India, where he faces multiple charges related to online gambling and money laundering.

Sahil Khan, fitness expert and actor with 2.8 million YouTube subscribers, has been arrested in connection with the Mahadev Betting App fraud case involving Rs 15,000 crore. Khan was brought to Mumbai from Chhattisgarh and remanded to police custody until May 1st. The app is alleged to have facilitated illegal gambling on various games, and the police are investigating Khan’s involvement along with 31 others.
Actor Tamannaah Bhatia has been summoned by the Maharashtra cyber cell for her alleged involvement in promoting a subsidiary of the Mahadev online betting and gaming app. According to reports, Bhatia had been allegedly promoting the viewing of the Indian Premier Matches (IPL) matches on the Fairplay app. The Maharashtra cyber cell has recorded statements from other Bollywood celebrities in connection with the case, including Baadshah and managers of Sanjay Dutt and Jacqueline Fernandez.
Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has been summoned by the Maharashtra Cyber Wing for questioning in connection with the illegal streaming of IPL 2023 on the Fairplay App, which is linked to the Mahadev betting app, according to news agency ANI. Bhatia has been directed to appear before the Cyber Cell for questioning on April 29. Sanjay Dutt’s name has also surfaced in the investigation, and he was requested to appear for questioning earlier this week. However, due to scheduling conflicts, he was unable to appear and has requested a new date. Viacom reportedly suffered losses in crores of rupees due to the illegal streaming.
