This ambitious project is expected to create over 7,000 jobs and elevate Gadchiroli into Maharashtra’s leading district and the largest steel hub in India, contributing to the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

Central Railway Announces 202 Special Trains for Ganesh Chaturthi Festivities

The Central Railway in India has announced 202 special trains to cater to the influx of devotees during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. 12 Naxals Killed in Gadchiroli Encounter, Security Forces Recover Arms

Twelve Naxals were killed in a major operation by Gadchiroli police commandos on the Chhattisgarh-Gadchiroli border near Maharashtra’s Kanker. The encounter, which lasted over six hours, also resulted in the recovery of a significant cache of arms, including AK-47 rifles and INSAS rifles. The operation comes as Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis performed the ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ for a new steel plant in Gadchiroli, aimed at providing employment opportunities in the Naxal-affected district.
