Residents in eight areas of Delhi’s Outer North district will face a complete water shutdown for 18 hours starting Wednesday, October 16th, at 10 am. The Delhi Jal Board has announced this disruption due to essential maintenance work on the Bawana water main. Affected areas include Bawana Village, Sultanpur Dabas Village, Pooth Khurd Village, Barwala Village, Majra Dabas Village, Chandpur Village, and areas under Wards 35 and 36, along with adjoining regions. The DJB advises residents to store enough water in advance and utilize water tankers available on demand.

The Amarnath Yatra has been temporarily suspended on the Baltal axis due to heavy rains that caused damage to the route. Maintenance work is underway to ensure the safety of pilgrims. The Yatra will continue on the Pahalgam route.

Mumbai local train services between Mahim and Goregaon will be disrupted for five hours on June 23 due to essential maintenance work on the Harbor lines. Commuters are advised to make alternative arrangements or check with station authorities for updates.
