Tampa General Hospital, Manatee County, and Archer First Response Systems have partnered to launch an innovative drone technology program to enhance emergency response times and save lives. The program, set to commence on May 1st, will deploy drones carrying life-saving equipment like AEDs and tourniquets to 9-1-1 callers in Manatee County. This groundbreaking initiative is expected to significantly improve survival rates for cardiac arrests, opioid overdoses, and trauma-related injuries.
