Manipur Crisis: Chief Minister Demands Control of Unified Command Amidst Violence

BJP Leader Files Complaint After Attack on His Residence in Manipur

A BJP leader and member of the Thadou community in Manipur, Michael Lamjathang Haokip, has filed a police complaint against 15 individuals allegedly involved in an attack on his residence. The complaint includes screenshots of WhatsApp conversations where individuals discussed killing Haokip, with one even offering village land as a reward. The attack occurred hours after Haokip participated in a panel discussion on a local TV channel, further highlighting the ongoing ethnic tensions in the state.
