BJP’s Manoj Tiwari Files Nomination for Lok Sabha Election in North East Delhi

Manoj Tiwari, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for the Lok Sabha election from the North East Delhi constituency, filed his nomination on Wednesday. Tiwari claimed that over 50,000 people came to support him during the filing process. He also took a swipe at the Congress party, stating that it is embroiled in internal conflicts and that its candidate is not even being accepted by their own party. Tiwari’s nomination procession was attended by BJP leader and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who expressed confidence in Tiwari’s re-election. The Congress party has fielded former Jawaharlal Nehru University Students Union (JNUSU) president Kanhaiya Kumar against Tiwari, who is seeking a second consecutive term in the seat.

Tiwari also highlighted the old controversies surrounding Kumar, including his support for Afzal Guru and his alleged divisive rhetoric, which he believes will influence voters in the upcoming polls.
