Manolo Marquez Appointed as India’s National Football Coach

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has appointed FC Goa head coach Manolo Marquez as the new head coach of the senior men’s national team for the next three years. The appointment was made after a thorough selection process and Marquez was chosen for his knowledge of the Indian football ecosystem and his experience in developing Indian players. The AIFF also decided to postpone the relegation process in the Indian Super League for another season and appointed Anilkumar Prabhakaran as the new secretary general.

Manolo Marquez Appointed as New Head Coach of Indian Men’s Football Team

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has appointed Manolo Marquez, the current head coach of FC Goa, as the new head coach of the Indian men’s national football team. He succeeds Igor Stimac and will continue his role at FC Goa until 2025 while also taking on the national team duties. Marquez, a Spanish coach, has experience in the Indian football system having previously led Hyderabad FC to an ISL title in 2022.
