From May 17 to 19, Stockholm’s streets will become a captivating outdoor gallery as BMW i5 M60 xDrive vehicles adorned with the artwork of Swedish artist Karin Westman shuttle guests to and from the Market Art Fair. This initiative is a continuation of BMW’s iconic Art Car series, showcasing electric vehicles featuring Nordic artists for the second consecutive year. Inspired by the Baroque period, Westman’s sensual and abstract designs, characterized by a rich color palette, will transform the BMW i5 M60 xDrive into moving canvases, merging industrial design and fine art.

From May 17 to 19, Stockholm’s streets will transform into a mobile gallery as the BMW i5 M60 xDrive, adorned with Karin Westman’s artwork, transports guests to and from the Market Art Fair 2024. Inspired by the legendary BMW Art Car series, this initiative showcases electric vehicles bearing the creations of Nordic artists for the second year. Westman’s ‘Wetland’-themed designs, drawing inspiration from the Baroque era, will grace multiple BMW i5 M60 xDrive vehicles, turning them into moving works of art that seamlessly blend industrial design and fine art.
