Justice Gabrielle Wolohojian took her oaths of office on Monday, officially joining the Supreme Judicial Court (SJC). Confirmed by the Governor’s Council in February, Wolohojian served on the Appeals Court bench for 16 years before her appointment to the SJC. Governor Maura Healey, who has been in a domestic partnership with Wolohojian in the past, drew criticism for appointing her to the SJC.
