Mumbai is experiencing a heatwave with scorching temperatures expected to continue for a few days. On Tuesday, the city is likely to witness a maximum temperature of around 37 degrees Celsius, accompanied by clear skies and hot, humid conditions. The heatwave-like conditions are likely to persist throughout the day. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a special temperature bulletin, recording a maximum temperature of 38.1 degrees Celsius in Suburban Mumbai. A gradual rise in temperature by 1-2 degrees Celsius is predicted over the next two days, followed by a decline. Hot and humid conditions are expected to prevail in the North Konkan region, including Mumbai and Thane. However, relief is on the horizon, with IMD forecasting a decrease in temperatures starting from Tuesday.
