The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Mumbai has successfully busted an international drug conspiracy, resulting in the seizure of a substantial quantity of MDMA (ecstasy) and the arrest of an African national.

Mumbai Customs authorities confiscated gold worth more than Rs 4.44 crore and diamonds valued at Rs 2.02 crore, totalling approximately 6.815 kilograms, across 13 cases. The seizures, which took place between April 19 and April 21, 2024, also included the detection of 2.314 kilograms of MDMA pills, valued at Rs 4.62 crore, concealed in fabric organisers. Four individuals were arrested in connection with these seizures.
