The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) held on Sunday witnessed a remarkable attendance rate, with nearly 23.3 lakh candidates out of 24 lakh registered participants appearing for the highly competitive medical entrance examination. This year’s NEET-UG exam marked the highest-ever number of candidates appearing for any competitive examination in India, underscoring its significance in the medical education landscape.
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), scheduled for May 5, 2024, has specific dress code guidelines that all candidates must adhere to. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued detailed instructions for both male and female candidates to ensure fairness and maintain the integrity of the examination process. Failure to comply with the dress code will result in candidates not being permitted to enter the examination hall. This year, over 24 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the NEET 2024 exam.
