Molecular Assemblies, a leader in enzymatic DNA synthesis, has received an additional $4 million from DARPA to further develop its technology for on-demand DNA vaccine manufacturing. The company’s Fully Enzymatic Synthesis (FES) technology is being used in the DARPA NOW project to create a mobile platform for rapid production of DNA-based vaccines and therapeutics anywhere in the world.
