Daimler Truck to Begin Series Production of Electric Mercedes-Benz eActros 600

Daimler Truck has announced that it will begin series production of its long-haul electric truck, the Mercedes-Benz eActros 600, at its Wörth plant in late November. This heavy-duty truck features a battery capacity exceeding 600 kilowatt hours, providing a range of 500 kilometers on a single charge. The company aims to decarbonize long-distance haulage, a major contributor to CO2 emissions in the trucking industry.

Mercedes-Benz India Launches CLE Cabriolet and AMG GLC 43 4Matic Coupe

Mercedes-Benz India has expanded its lineup with the introduction of the CLE Cabriolet and AMG GLC 43 4Matic Coupe. The CLE Cabriolet, a convertible model that debuted globally in July 2023, is now available in India for Rs 1.1 crore (ex-showroom). The AMG GLC 43 coupe is powered by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, mildly hybrid turbocharged petrol engine, delivering 416 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. The CLE Cabriolet boasts a striking resemblance to the E-Class coupe and cabriolet, featuring a long hood and a large shark-nose grille. Inside, it shares similarities with the C-Class, offering a range of upholstery options and advanced features like a fully digital instrument cluster, a 11.9-inch infotainment display, and a 710W Burmester 3D sound system.
