Alstom, a global leader in sustainable and intelligent mobility solutions, has announced the operational commencement of the elevated segment of Hanoi Metro Line 3. This section, managed by Hanoi Metro Company (HMC), is set to officially open in September 2024 but is currently offering free trial rides to the public. The initial phase encompasses 8.5 kilometers with eight stations along the elevated route. Once fully completed, the entire line will span 12.5 kilometers, featuring 12 stations and significantly enhancing connectivity for approximately 1.6 million residents across six districts in Hanoi.
