Ryan Coogler’s upcoming horror thriller ‘Sinners’ unveils its first trailer, featuring Michael B. Jordan in a dual role as twin brothers confronting a sinister force. The trailer teases a thrilling story with hints of vampires and a chilling fight for survival.
Warner Bros. Pictures is developing ‘I Am Legend 2’, a sequel to the 2007 post-apocalyptic film starring Will Smith. Michael B. Jordan is attached to co-star, and Akiva Goldsman is returning to write the screenplay. The original film, based on Richard Matheson’s novel, followed Dr. Robert Neville, a lone human survivor in a world overrun by vampire-like creatures. In the sequel, Smith will reprise his role as Neville, despite his character’s apparent death in the first film. The alternate ending of the original film, which showed Neville releasing a captured female Darkseeker and apologizing to the creatures, will be considered canonical for the sequel. No director is currently attached to the project, and production has not yet begun. A release date has not been set.
Li Jun Li has been cast in Ryan Coogler’s untitled supernatural thriller, starring Michael B. Jordan. The film’s plot and Li’s role are currently unknown, but other cast members include Jack O’Connell, Delroy Lindo, Omar Benson Miller, Jayme Lawson, Wunmi Mosaku, and Hailee Steinfeld. The film is based on a screenplay by Coogler, who will also produce alongside Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian. The film is slated for release on March 7, 2025.
