Tensions Rise on US Campuses Over Middle East War

Columbia University has canceled in-person classes and Yale University police have arrested dozens of protesters amid growing tensions on US college campuses over the war in the Middle East. At Columbia, more than 100 pro-Palestinian demonstrators were arrested last week, while at Yale, about 45 protesters were charged with trespassing on Monday. University presidents have expressed concern over the disruptions and have called for de-escalation.
