New UK National Security Adviser Appointed

UK Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced the appointment of General Gwyn Jenkins as the UK’s new national security adviser. Jenkins, who has an extensive military background, will succeed Sir Tim Barrow, who is set to become the UK’s next ambassador to the United States. Sunak praised Jenkins’ qualifications for the role, citing his military experience and previous roles within No. 10 Downing Street, including deputy national security adviser.
