U.S. Army Private Travis King Pleads Guilty to Desertion and Other Charges

U.S. Army Private Travis King, who gained international attention last year for his escape to North Korea, has decided to plead guilty to five charges, including desertion, following his release from North Korean custody. King will admit guilt to desertion, disobeying officers, and assault on a fellow soldier. The guilty plea and sentencing hearing are scheduled for September 20 at Fort Bliss in Texas.
