Two aircraft, an AW139 maritime operation helicopter and a Fennec lightweight helicopter, collided mid-air and crashed into the ground at a naval base. All seven crew members aboard the AW139 and three on the Fennec were confirmed dead at the scene. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the accident.
