Minor Hotels, a prominent global hotel owner and operator, has appointed Puneet Dhawan as Head of Asia, effective July 2024. Dhawan will lead the company’s expansion plans in Asia and India, reporting directly to CEO Dillip Rajakarier. With over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, Dhawan brings a wealth of expertise to Minor Hotels. Previously, he held senior leadership positions at Accor, including Senior Vice President of Operations for India & South Asia and Vice President of Operations for the Middle East. Dhawan played a key role in launching India’s first Raffles hotel during his tenure at Accor. He began his hospitality career at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in the Philippines and Hong Kong.

Leading global hospitality company Minor Hotels has recently appointed Lokesh Kumar as its Vice President of Development for the Middle East region. Lokesh brings over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in developing and managing strategic business operations. He will oversee the growth of Minor Hotels’ brands including Anantara, Avani, NH Hotels, Oaks, and Tivoli in the region.
