Dhawan will lead the company’s expansion plans in Asia and India, reporting directly to CEO Dillip Rajakarier. With over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, Dhawan brings a wealth of expertise to Minor Hotels. Previously, he held senior leadership positions at Accor, including Senior Vice President of Operations for India & South Asia and Vice President of Operations for the Middle East. Dhawan played a key role in launching India’s first Raffles hotel during his tenure at Accor. He began his hospitality career at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in the Philippines and Hong Kong.
