The incident occurred at a Ranney Street address at approximately 10:20 a.m., prompting the response of emergency crews. Both individuals sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital. The investigation resulted in the arrest of the two men, one on a charge of assault and the other on a charge of assault with a weapon. They were released and are scheduled to appear in court in Cobourg at a future date.
