Malayalam actress Minu Muneer has accused filmmaker-actor Balachandra Menon of forcing her to watch a group sex act in his room in 2007. This is the latest shocking revelation in the #MeToo movement’s impact on the Malayalam film industry, following the release of the Justice Hema Committee report, which exposed widespread sexual exploitation. Muneer has previously accused several other prominent figures, including actor Jayasurya and CPI(M) MLA Mukesh, of abuse, and her allegations have led to investigations and arrests.
