In the aftermath of a Supreme Court admonishment and subsequent apology from Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna, the Uttarakhand government has suspended the licenses of 14 Patanjali products manufactured by Divya Pharmacy. The suspension stems from violations of the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act and the Drugs and Cosmetic Act. Patanjali reportedly failed to provide satisfactory information regarding the products.
