A coalition of organizations is spearheading the largest LGBTQ2S+ mobilization since the marriage equality campaign, dubbed the Rainbow Week of Action. Rallies are planned in major cities and smaller communities across Canada on May 16-17 to advocate for government support for LGBTQ2S+ initiatives and denounce misinformation spread by far-right groups. The campaign aims to highlight the challenges faced by the LGBTQ2S+ community, particularly transgender youth, and call for a more inclusive and equitable society for all.
