The woman reportedly visited the Governor’s residence to file a complaint about electoral malpractices but was allegedly molested instead. The incident has cast a shadow over PM Modi’s visit to Kolkata, where he is set to address election rallies. The office of the Bengal Governor has previously compiled a list of suspected criminals who could be used by political parties to intimidate voters during the ongoing general elections.
