Capcom’s latest installment in the beloved hunting series, Monster Hunter Wilds, promises to be the biggest and most immersive entry yet. With a release date set for summer 2025, Wilds will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Players can expect massive environments inhabited by equally massive monsters, new gameplay mechanics like mountable creatures and mid-hunt weapon switching, and the option for cooperative multiplayer with up to two friends. Preorders for Monster Hunter Wilds are not yet available, but save data from Monster Hunter: World and its Iceborne expansion will grant players access to two exclusive Palico armor sets.

Developer Strange Scaffold’s critically acclaimed neo-noir shooter, El Paso, Elsewhere, is set to make its way to the silver screen, with LaKeith Stanfield (Judas and the Black Messiah, Sorry to Bother You) in talks to star and produce the film alongside Di Bonaventura Pictures and Colin Stark. The adaptation will follow protagonist James Savage as he embarks on a perilous journey through a monster-filled world to confront his vengeful ex-girlfriend and grapple with his own inner struggles.
