In a thrilling clash between two top-ranked New Jersey girls lacrosse teams, Moorestown emerged victorious with a 9-4 triumph over Allentown. Led by junior Jessica DelConte’s hat trick, the Quakers secured their seventh win of the season, while Allentown’s impressive 9-3 record took a slight hit. Emma Greer and Avery Adeli proved equally potent for Moorestown, each contributing two goals and an assist. Allentown’s offense relied heavily on Delaney Nolan, who accounted for two of the team’s four goals.

A Moorestown couple was convicted Wednesday of coercing two women who entered the country illegally to work for them by threatening to beat them and taking away their passports and visas. Bolaji Bolarinwa, 50, and Isiaka Bolarinwa, 67, were convicted of multiple counts of forced labor, alien harboring for financial gain, and document servitude.
