A six-year-old disabled boy has tragically died after his mother allegedly threw him into a crocodile-infested river in Karnataka. The incident occurred in Dandeli taluk of Uttara Kannada, following a quarrel between the boy’s parents over his disability. The mother, identified as Savitri, and her husband, Ravi Kumar, have been arrested in connection with the incident. According to the police, the couple frequently argued about the condition of their elder son, who was speech-disabled since birth. Savitri’s husband allegedly questioned her about why she gave birth to such a child and, on occasion, told her to throw him away. On Saturday night, the couple argued about the same matter, and Savitri allegedly threw her son into a waste canal that connected to the Kali River, killing him.
