Google Lens now allows users to search for information by recording a video. This new feature uses multimodal input to break down the video frame by frame and extract relevant information. In a demonstration, Google Lens was able to identify a record player and provide troubleshooting tips for a needle that wouldn’t stay on the record.

Meta’s Ray-Ban smart glasses have received a significant AI update, introducing multimodal input capabilities. Users in the U.S. and Canada can now interact with the glasses by asking questions and viewing what the glasses see. Additionally, Meta is adding new Ray-Ban styles, including the Skyler and Scuderia Ferrari frames, and expanding live streaming capabilities to WhatsApp and Messenger.
