Attempted Residential Robbery Leads to Police Chase and Multiple Charges in Oakville

A 26-year-old individual has been arrested and charged following an alleged attempted residential robbery in Oakville, Ontario, and a subsequent police chase. The suspect was reportedly confronted by a homeowner while removing items from a garage and subsequently fled the scene in a vehicle, striking the homeowner’s parked car in the process.

The pursuit, which spanned approximately four kilometers, culminated near the intersection of Trafalgar Road and Upper Middle Road after a spike belt deployed by police deflated the suspect’s vehicle’s tires. Despite causing damage to three police cruisers, the chase concluded without any reported injuries.

The accused faces a total of 11 charges, including theft exceeding $5,000, evading police, and failing to yield after an accident. Detectives have ascertained that the vehicle used by the suspect was stolen from Minesing, Ontario, situated approximately 16 kilometers outside of Barrie.

Convicted Felon Arrested for Alleged Sexual Assault of Lyft Driver

A 54-year-old Lyft driver was allegedly sexually assaulted by a 20-year-old man she picked up in Oklahoma City. The suspect, Andre Hunter, faces multiple charges including rape, robbery, kidnapping, and forcible sodomy. Hunter allegedly restrained the victim in the backseat of her car and forced her to drive to a park, where he assaulted her multiple times. After the assault, Hunter drove the victim to a neighborhood in Northeast Oklahoma City and dropped her off at a church. Police were able to track down Hunter using the victim’s phone, which was still in her car. Hunter was arrested at Langston University and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on a $1,000,000 bond.

Trucker’s Bond Doubled After Deadly Crash into Texas DPS Office

Clenard Parker, 42, is facing a $4 million bond after being charged with murder and multiple other counts in connection with the April 12 crash that killed one person and injured several others. Parker, who was initially denied a commercial driver’s license renewal, allegedly stole an 18-wheeler from a gas station and crashed it into the DPS office in Brenham. His bond was doubled after four new charges were filed against him.
