Mumbai experienced relief from scorching heat as the southwest monsoon made its way on Sunday. Tagore Nagar received the highest rainfall of 158.2 mm, causing waterlogging and traffic congestion. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued alerts for heavy to very heavy rainfall in Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra. Residents should be prepared for more rainfall and possible disruptions.
