The University of Mumbai has rescheduled exams for its Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) due to heavy rainfall in Maharashtra. The exams, originally scheduled for July 9, will now take place on July 18 and 20. The decision comes after the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a red alert for various regions in Mumbai, later downgraded to a yellow alert. In addition to exam postponements, schools in Mumbai have been closed today as a precautionary measure.
Mumbai University has released the first merit list for undergraduate admissions for the 2024-2025 academic year, aspiring undergraduates can now check their admission status at prominent colleges affiliated with the university. The verification process will begin on June 14th and selected candidates are required to complete this online verification process by June 20th, 3 PM. For those who do not find their names on the first list, there is still hope as Mumbai University will be releasing subsequent merit lists. The second list is scheduled for release on June 21st, followed by the third list on June 28th.
