Two Pistols Used in Salman Khan’s Mumbai Residence Shooting Incident Recovered from Gujrat River

Two pistols allegedly used in the shooting incident targeting the Mumbai residence of Bollywood star Salman Khan have been retrieved from the Tapi river in Gujarat, according to a report by ANI. Divers also recovered three magazines and 13 cartridges during the operation in Surat. Vicky Gupta, 24, and Sagar Pal, 21, the individuals who discharged five rounds at the Galaxy Apartment residence of actor Salman Khan in Bandra on 14 April, were arrested in Gujarat last week.

Last Day for Voter Registration in Mumbai Metropolitan Region

Residents seeking to register as voters in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) must do so by Tuesday, the last day of registration. This is 10 days before the final date for withdrawal of nominations ahead of the May 20 Lok Sabha elections. To enhance voter turnout in Mumbai’s four Lok Sabha constituencies, the collector’s office is implementing various measures. Color-coded voting slips will be provided at polling stations with five or more booths to simplify navigation. Shades will be set up for shelter from the sun, and drinking water will be available. These services will be available at 573 locations.
