Peter Frampton Likens Ozzy Osbourne to Betty White Ahead of Rock Hall Induction

Peter Frampton has expressed his excitement and astonishment upon receiving the honor of being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame alongside Ozzy Osbourne. Frampton enthusiastically compared Osbourne to the beloved Betty White, emphasizing his widespread appeal. He also expressed his desire to perform ‘Crazy Train’ with Osbourne during the induction ceremony.

Frampton acknowledged the induction of R&B and rap artists like Mary J. Blige and A Tribe Called Quest, suggesting that the institution might consider expanding its focus to become the ‘Music Hall of Fame’ instead. He strongly affirmed the well-deserved recognition for Blige’s exceptional talent.

Reflecting on Cher’s previous reluctance to attend the ceremony due to earlier oversights, Frampton extended a warm invitation for her presence. He encouraged her to embrace this moment of recognition and join the celebration. Other notable inductees this year include Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, Kool & The Gang, Jimmy Buffett, Dionne Warwick, Norman Whitfield, Alexis Korner, John Mayall, and Big Mama Thornton. The induction ceremony is set to take place in Cleveland on October 19th.
