Nag Panchami Celebrated Across India with Prayers and Rituals

Devotees across India observed Nag Panchami on August 9, offering prayers to Lord Shiva and serpents. The festival, also known as Nagula Panchami, marks the fifth day of the Shravan fortnight and involves worshipping serpents, considered divine in Hindu mythology. Rituals include offering sweets, flowers, and milk to snake idols and images, with some devotees even offering milk to live cobras.
