The Common University Entrance Test, Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2024 has been postponed in Delhi on May 15 due to unavoidable reasons. The examination will now be conducted in the national capital on May 29, and revised admit cards will be released for candidates. The exam will proceed as scheduled in all other cities nationwide and abroad. The undergraduate entrance exam scheduled on other dates (May 16, 17, 18) at all centres, including those in Delhi, will also be held as per the original schedule.

The Supreme Court has indicated that it will consider listing a plea filed by the Delhi government challenging the central government’s law establishing pre-eminence of the lieutenant governor over the elected dispensation in controlling services in the national capital. The plea will be considered after the conclusion of a currently ongoing hearing by a nine-judge bench on a separate matter.
