Seven members of a family, including minors, are feared drowned in the Narmada River in Gujarat’s Narmada district. The incident occurred on Tuesday when the family was swept away by the river current. Local divers, the National Disaster Rescue Force, and the Vadodara fire team are conducting a search operation for the victims, but no traces have been found so far. Poicha, the location of the incident, is a popular spot for summer swimming, but boat operations in the river have recently been prohibited due to safety concerns.
