Annu Rani, the national record holder in javelin throw, secured the gold medal in the women’s event at the 63rd National Open Athletics Championships with a throw of 58.97m. The championships also saw thrilling races in the 100m, 400m, and 110m hurdles, with young athletes emerging victorious. Odisha’s Lalu Prasad Bhoi impressed with his winning time of 10.46 seconds in the men’s 100m, while Tushar Manna of Delhi dominated the 400m with a time of 45.97 seconds.
